This solution is specifically aimed at clients that have a significant pool of human resources, possibly based in many locations and posted to ad-hoc work assignments. Such a pool of resource might include consultants, IT development staff, loss adjusters and engineers.

In these circumstances, typical problems that clients encounter are:

	sub-optimal matching of skilled staff to the jobs at hand as a result due to an incomplete knowledge of the available pool of resource;
	unacceptably high management overheads performing resource allocation; and
	a long lead-time in assigning staff to tasks.

The objectives of using the Resource Management solution from Lockfield would be:

	to reduce the cost of managing a large and/or dispersed group of resources by automating the elements of the resource matching and administration process;
